Rock Band To Headline Nov. 19 Coffeehouse
DANBURY â Holyfire, a five-member Christian rock band from Hamden will make its fifth appearance at Community Coffeehouse on Saturday, November 19. The monthly event runs from 7:30 to 10:30 pm at 7 Madison Avenue.
Admission is free, but freewill donations are accepted; suggested donation is $5 to $10. The monthly event is suitable for all ages.
Holyfire, who is always looking for new audience members, has launched the Campus Awareness Project to bring the Christian salvation message to college students.
Its most recent event, earlier this month, was a CAP concert at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and the latest stops for the bandâs energized alternative rock sounds have been college campuses.
Members are Justin Kendrick, lead singer, guitarist and principal songwriter; his wife and co-vocalist Chrisy; singer Brandie Hanna, drummer John Chambriello Jr., and bass guitarist Jim DeAngelo.
John Ciambriello Jr. will offer an opening set Saturday night.
