Ralph Rigoli
Ralph Rigoli, 60, of Monroe, died February 7 in his home. He was the brother
of Vincent Rigoli of Newtown.
Born in Messignadi, Reggio, Calabria, Italy, he was a Bridgeport resident for
many years before moving to Monroe 20 years ago. He was the owner of Rigoli's
Market in White Hills in Shelton and a former employee with the Town of
Trumbull.
Survivors, in addition to his brother, include his wife of 36 years, Maria
(Sproviero) Rigoli; children, Tina Leary of Shelton and Joe Rigoli of
Brighton, Mass.; grandsons, Richard and Bryan Leary, both of Shelton; his
parents, Giuseppe and Fortunata Rigoli of Shelton; three other brothers, Rocco
Rigoli and Paul Rigoli of Shelton, and John Rigoli of Phoenix, Ariz.; three
sisters, Maria (Tita) Sanzo of Shelton, Teresa Camera of Stratford and Cathy
Saraco of Shelton; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held on February 10 in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home Inc, 559
Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, and in St Jude's Church, Monroe. Entombment was
in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
