Calendar Project A Success

To the Editor:

The Newtown Middle School Cultural Arts & Calendar Committees would like to say thank you to everyone who worked on the Newtown Activity Calendar and helped make this project successful. A big thank you to all the moms who gave up an evening to sell the calendars. Your efforts have provided substantial funding for the Middle School Cultural Arts program and are greatly appreciated.

Our special thanks to Jack Vichiola of Precision Printing for the printing of the calendar and to the Drug Center, Big Y , Dunkin Donuts and Sandy Hook Barber Shop, for their community spirit and help in selling the calendars. We are also grateful to the Middle School Art Department for putting together the collection of beautiful drawings, done by Middle School students, that makes the calendar so special!
