Two New Shows For Fine Line Artists

WOODBURY — A busy fall season begins for Woodbury’s Fine Line Art Gallery on August 31, as the gallery continues to stretch and grow. Its 15 award-winning artists in residence have been invited to show their work in a special fall exhibition at Duracell’s Berkshire Corporate headquarters in Bethel. The Fine Line artists will also be concurrently showing in their own gallery, at 682 Main Street/Route 6.

The new exhibit at the gallery will be called “In And Out of The Gallery,” a celebration of the gallery’s ongoing success and its members’ off-site presentation in Bethel. The Woodbury show will present new works by gallery members from August 31 to September 24.

“The [Duracell] exhibit will be for the pleasure of the 800 Duracell employees and visiting corporate people, and will be the perfect backdrop for the remodeling celebration planned by Duracell in September,” explained gallery member Lorraine Ryan. Fine Line members will be showing several pieces of work each, with the show hanging September 1 through November 30.

Fine Line Gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm; telephone 266-0110. The public can view the show at Duracell’s headquarters by appointment only.
