Woman’s Club Scholarships Available

The General Federation of Woman’s Club of Connecticut is offering two memorial scholarships to Connecticut women who are pursing advance courses of study at institutions of higher learning. The Danbury/New Fairfield Woman’s Club would like to sponsor a woman student who meets the qualifications for each award.

Candidates for the Phipps Scholarship must have completed two or more years of undergraduate work in an accredited institution with a 3.0 average or better and be matriculating for a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.

Candidates for the Schoetzel Scholarship must have completed three or more years of undergraduate work in an accredited institution with a 3.0 average or better and be matriculating for a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in the field of education.
