Stanley Tabaka, 88, of Stratford, died November 10 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mr Tabaka was born in Shelton to Joseph and Antoinette (Malohnik) Tabaka, the last of 13 children.

Survivors include his beloved son, Robert Tabaka, and his wife Barbara, of Sandy Hook; his two cherished granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr Tabaka was a World War II veteran of the US Army and a retired machinist for Avco-Lycoming.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Friday, November 14, at 10 am, in Our Lady of Grace Church, 298 Second Hill Lane, Stratford. Inurnment will follow in St John’s Cemetery Stratford. At the family’s request, calling hours have been omitted.

The Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
