Audubon Center Butterfly Walk

SOUTHBURY — Andy Brandt, president of Connecticut Butterfly Association, and staff from Bent of the River Audubon Center, will hold a Butterfly Walk _on Sunday, July 9, from 2 to _4 pm.

Bent of the River, a 554-acre wildlife sanctuary and environmental education center in Southbury, has outstanding butterfly habitat. The walk will be in the fields for some of the many species that make this Audubon Center their home. Tour guides also will discuss efforts to acquire a critical piece of property that borders the sanctuary. For details, and to register, call 264-5098. The event is free and open to the public.
