Glass Company Expansion

RIDGEFIELD — Ridgefield Glass announced the company is expanding its operation into Danbury. The custom glass retailers recently opened a new 3,500-square-foot shop and warehouse on Backus Avenue.

“We’ve been fortunate in that we’ve been able to diversify our product mix with both traditional replacement glass and custom designs,” said John Petchonka, co-owner of Ridgefield Glass. “As a result, we needed more warehouse space to keep up with the demand on both fronts.”

Mr Petchonka said the new location will also allow the company to grow its customer base north into Danbury and the surrounding areas.
