Saint Francis Names Information Technology Director

HARTFORD —Mike DeLuca of Newtown has joined Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford as director of information technology services and infrastructure.

This new position merges the previously separate enterprise network services and technical services departments in Saint Francis’ information technology division. Mr DeLuca is responsible for network services, desktop services, the help desk, telecommunications and technical services, including the data center, systems and security administration.

Mr DeLuca holds a bachelor’s degree in operations management from the University of New Haven and an associate’s degree in data processing from Norwalk State Technical College. He most recently served as director of infrastructure services and security officer at the Stamford Health System. He previously held positions with Cendant Mobility, Duracell Incorporated, and Union Trust Company.
