Dr Fitton Opens Office In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD — New Milford Hospital announced that Robert F. Fitton, MD, has opened his practice in family medicine in the New Milford Hospital Health Care Complex at Brookfield (formerly the Brookfield Health Center).

Dr Fitton is a graduate of New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He completed his residency at New York Medical College at St Joseph’s Family Practice Residency Program in Yonkers, New York. During his residency, he was resident instructor for two years for medical students from New York Medical College.

Prior to attending medical school, Dr Fitton received his masters degree in justice from American University in Washington, DC, where he received the Graduate Scholarship Award for Academic Achievement.

Board eligible in family practice, Dr Fitton is on the medical staff of New Milford Hospital. His office is located at 31 Old Route 7, Brookfield (next to the Hearth Restaurant). Dr Fitton expects to be credentialed by all the major managed care companies by the beginning of September.
