Fraser-Woods School To Present ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’

The classic words of William Shakespeare will be spoken by the seventh and eighth grade students of Fraser-Woods School when they perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Friday, April 7, at the Playhouse on the Green in Bridgeport. The show will begin at 7 pm and tickets are available at a cost of $15. Students will participate in every aspect of the production from casting, rehearsing, costumes, designing and building of sets and props to lighting. Students are shown forming a helmet out of plaster for the character Thesius. Omar El-Fanek is modeling the helmet. From left, Tanner Janesky, Julian Gingell, and Weston Tardie work together to get the formation of the costume just right. Tickets for the performance may be obtained by calling Kathy Anderson at 426-3390, extension 301.
