Aging, Benefits Panel Members Needed

First Selectman Pat Llodra is seeking qualified volunteers to fill open positions on several local commissions.

The Commission on Aging has two alternate positions open, one to any registered voter other than Republican and one to any registered voter.

Newtown’s new Employee Benefits Oversight Committee is also in need of individuals willing to serve on this newly created panel, which is expected to meet quarterly. Interested volunteers can send a letter of interest and resume to the Office of the First Selectman. 

Knowledge of the insurance or benefits industry is preferable. 

Hattertown Historic District, Sustainable Energy, and Lake Lillinonah Authority have had long-term openings, as well.
