Jennie Perkowski Orzeck

Jennie M. (Perkowski) Orzeck, 88, of Bridgeport, died October 20 at Carolton Convalescent Home, Fairfield. Mrs Orzeck was born in Luzerene, Penn., and was an area resident for more than 60 years.

Survivors include her devoted children, Chris Brewer of Sandy Hook, Robert J. Orzeck of Huntington, Marie Brown and her husband, John Schwartz, of Trumbull; cherished grandchildren, Joseph and Jennifer Brewer; one brother, Joseph Perkowski of Levittown, Penn.; three sisters, Stella Danielczyk of Utica, N.Y., Connie Perkowski of Wilkes Barre, Penn., and Wanda Gilmore of Cranford, N.J.; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs Orzeck was a former employee of Singer Manufacturing Co. She was a longtime and active member of St Michael the Archangel Church in Bridgeport.

Mrs Orzeck was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter Orzeck; and two sisters, Helen Perkowski and Martha Rovinski.

Funeral services were held October 23 in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, and at St Michael the Archangel Church, 310 Pulaski Street, Bridgeport. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
