Janice Reama Manz

‘Faith In God Is

The Source’

Janice Reama Manz died in her home in Bohannon, Va., of heart failure May 5. She was a former resident of Newtown.

She is deeply missed by her husband Russell Manz; three sons and their spouses; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She touched the lives of people throughout the world. In her own words, “If I examine the road I’ve traveled, I see nothing random about it. For me, faith in God is the source. Here is the next stop in my journey and if it turns out to be the last stop, that’s fine too, because there is something about each home that called us with a distant voice, which after living in the midst, I can only describe as the resounding, yet uncomplicated sound…of contentment.”

Mrs Manz spent a month in Romania working in a small hospice for children with AIDS and has supported and followed its progress for several years.

Memorial donations may be sent to the following charitable organization: Fundatia Curioasa Parastiva, Acct No: R096RNCB0170027251390003, Bank: Banca Comerciala Romana, BD Chimieri NR 21, Slobozia, Judetul Ialomita, Romania.
