Carole Dunn Britto

Carole Dunn Britto, 67, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Sandy Hook, died February 15.

She was born on August 4, 1936, to Bertrand A. Dunn and “Jennie” Antonia (Pokryoka).

Ms Britto was the star of the Connecticut State Championship basketball team as a young adult. She worked at Fairfield Hills Hospital for 22 years.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Howard M. Britto of Sandy Hook; four sons, Wayne Britto of Sandy Hook, George Britto of Sandy Hook, Brian Britto of Southbury, and James Britto of Henderson, Nev.; one daughter, Sharon Doherty of Sandy Hook; six grandchildren, Amber, Tania and Lisa Britto of Southbury, Brandon Britto of Henderson, Nev., Patrick and Joseph Doherty of Sandy Hook; two sisters, Janet Dunn Conners of Bridgeport, and Sharon Dunn Etzel of Southport; several nieces and nephews; long-term friend Georgette St Pierre.

A Memorial Service will take place at a later time.
