Snow Tubing With Youth Group

St Rose Junior Youth Group invites all Newtown middle school-age students (regardless of which school they attend) to join the group for a snow tubing trip on Friday, February 16, to Powder Ridge in Middletown.

The group will be leaving the parking lot of St Rose Church, on Church Hill Road in Newtown, at 4 pm, and travel to the largest snow tubing facility in southern New England. The ski area supplies the tubes, and even has a special lift that will pull all riders up to the top of the snow-tubing hill.

Cost is $17 per person; checks should be payable to Junior Youth Group. Participants should bring their own bag supper, or plan on bringing about $10 to purchase food at the ski area. Dress for cold weather and for getting covered in the show.
