‘Charlie Brown’ Rescheduled

BRIDGEPORT — Playhouse on the Green has rescheduled two events in its Playhouse Holiday Festival as a result of cancellations due to the snow emergency earlier this month.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, the musical production based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 21, at 2 pm.

Presented by the Regional Center for the Performing Arts, the show’s songs include “Kite,” “Schroeder,” “Snoopy,” “My Blanket & Me,” “Book Report,” “The Red Baron,” “Suppertime” and “Happiness.” Santa Claus will visit the Playhouse following the show.  The Regional Center for the Performing Arts is a high school specializing in performing arts, drawing students from all over the region.

Tickets are $12.  The show was originally planned for December 7; tickets from the original date will be honored, and new tickets remain for the rescheduled date.

The American Chamber Orchestra, originally scheduled to perform at the playhouse on Saturday, December 6, will be rescheduled for January. The exact date and time remain TBA.

The theater, at 177 State Street in Bridgeport, can be contacted by calling 203-333-3666.
