Local Students Are Gifted Young Musicians
In August The Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestras held auditions for its their 2006-07 season. Over 260 gifted young musicians in grades 5-12 from 30 communities where selected to participate in the four developmentally sequential orchestras: String, Concert, Symphony and Principal.
The members are now enthusiastically rehearsing for their opening concert to be performed on Sunday, November 12, at 3 pm, at the Klein Auditorium in Bridgeport.
