Scholarship Available

The Robert J. Glander Memorial Scholarship Committee is pleased to offer a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to a Newtown resident who is graduating from high school this year.

The scholarship honors the memory of Bob Glander and his dedication to the youth of Newtown who participate in Newtown Babe Ruth Baseball and the Newtown Softball Association. It was initiated and is maintained by Bob’s family and friends in Newtown Babe Ruth Baseball.

One recipient of the award will be selected by the committee and will receive the scholarship at his or her high school awards ceremony.
