GBYO With Children’s Choir Singers, Sun.

BRIDGEPORT — The Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestras (GBYO) will present a “Leap Year” winter concert at Klein Memorial Auditorium, 910 Fairfield Avenue, on Sunday, February 29, at 3 pm. Joining GBYO will be Fairfield County Children’s Choir (FCCC) Chamber Singers.

The program will open with orchestral works performed by GBYO’s String Orchestra, Concert Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra,  from opera to a stirring march by Hector Berlioz.

In the program’s second half the GBYO Principal Orchestra and FCCC Chamber Singers will perform a special arrangement of Bach’s “Jesu, der du Meine Seele,” also two pieces by Copland’s one by Strauss.
