Enjoyed Rug Hooking

Mary Ann Cameron, 61, of Newtown, died October 13 in Danbury Hospital. Mrs Cameron was the wife of Ross G. Cameron. She was born in Pontiac, Mich., January 5, 1946, a daughter of Benjamin F. and Mary (Pyle) Pearson.

 Mrs Cameron was resident of Newtown for the past ten years and previously resided in Rochester Hills, Mich., and Irvine, Calif. She enjoyed rug hooking.

In addition to her husband of more than 42 years, survivors include a son, Todd B. Cameron of Huntington, N.Y.; and a daughter, Heather A. Braathen of Cazenovia, N.Y.; a sister, Janet Stimac of Berkley, Mich.; and two grandchildren, Cameron Braathen and Benjamin Cameron.

Funeral Services were held October 17 in the William Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, Royal Oak, Mich. Interment followed in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Mich. A memorial service will be held in Newtown at a later date.

Local arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
