LeBlond Transfers To William Pitt, Newtown

Betsy LeBlond, GRI, has transferred to the Newtown office of William Pitt Real Estate after listing and selling real estate in the Ridgefield office of William Pitt for the past year.

A native of New Canaan, Ms LeBlond lived in Ridgefield for eight years before moving to Newtown in 1987. She was affiliated with Curtiss & Crandon Realtors in Newtown and began her real estate career in 1994 with Greenwood Associates in Bethel.

Prior to practicing real estate, Ms LeBlond was president of CM, Inc, a New Canaan custom residential construction firm. She was a banking fiduciary for ten years with an independent commercial bank.

In the past, Ms LeBlond has been active in the Girl Scouts, the Danbury Commission on Child Care, Rights and Abuse, Inc. and was a founding member of Women for Professional and Personal Development, Inc. Presently, she is an active contributor and volunteer for the Hord Foundation, Inc, which provides scholarships to Danbury area African-American students.

Ms LeBlond is a graduate of Wheelock College and holds a bachelor of science in early childhood education. She is a substitute teacher for Newtown schools.
