Companies Targeted For FastTrack Growth

EAST HARTFORD — Fourteen promising early stage companies have been inducted into the Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge FastTrack program. These companies were identified as having a high potential for rapid growth from the Connecticut Technology Council (CTC) Innovation Pipeline Accelerator program, a virtual incubator of about 500 start-up/entrepreneurial companies.

FastTrack companies are offered a menu of services from CTC and companies are paired with volunteer mentors and coaches to help bring their company to that next level. In addition, these companies are presented to funding sources (if they need it), such as angel investor and venture capital groups. There is a great track record with these FastTrack companies — many have become very successful companies, securing funding and growing their businesses in Connecticut.

At the receptions held at the offices of FastTrack sponsor Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge, LLP, Alison Malloy, who is now general manager of Eastman Kodak’s Corporate Solutions Group, spoke about the successful sale to Kodak of her Stamford-based FastTrack company, Design2Launch.
