Ranked 2nd

The undefeated Newtown High School boys’ soccer team is now ranked second in Connecticut in the latest Hartford Courant poll (Thursday, October 25).

The Nighthawks, 14-0, are ranked second behind only Farmington.

Newtown, which was slated to face Brookfield Thursday night (after press time), will open league playoff action Saturday at 7:15 pm at the high school stadium.
