Group Meetings

DANBURY — Registration is now being accepted for the free and confidential Divorce & Separation Support Group conducted by the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury.

The group begins meeting for eight weeks on Thursday, February 19. For information and registration call 731-5200.

The Divorce & Separation Support Group, designed for adults contemplating, going through, or recently divorced, explores such topics as the mourning process of divorce, self-esteem, coping strategies for stress, anger, and loneliness, and moving beyond the divorce.

The Women’s Center has been providing continuous service to Greater Danbury residents for 28 years. In addition to support groups, the center offers counseling, crisis intervention, workshops, prevention programs, two 24-hour hotlines, and a referral helpline.
