Michael C. Infante, 81, of Monroe, beloved husband of the late Josephine (Musca) Infante, died October 17 at Bridgeport Health Care Center, following a long illness.
Born in Greenwich on February 11, 1920, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Rose (Rota) Infante. Mr Infante was a US Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Monroe VFW, and a 30-year resident of Monroe. He was a self-employed land developer and building contractor, working on many projects, including Canoe Brook Estates and Pinewood Monroe.
He is survived by his devoted twin sons, Thomas Infante of Newtown, and Michael Infante and his wife, Mary, of Trumbull; brothers, Frank and Lawrence Infante, both of Greenwich; grandchildren, Thomas Infante, Jr, of Shelton, Richard Infante of Monroe, Leigh Ann Kutz of Darien, Michael Infante, Jr, of Monroe, Michele Howell of Idaho, Christopher Infante of Trumbull, and Nicholas Infante of Trumbull; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services took place on October 22 from the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike (Route 111), Monroe. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
