To the Editor:

I would like to introduce myself to the residents of District 2 and ask for your votes on Tuesday, November 8 at the Reed School. My name is Stacie Doyle and I am a candidate for Legislative Council in the 2nd district.

I have a liberal arts degree as well as an MBA in finance. While living in Cincinnati, I worked for a diversified financial services company, focusing my efforts on strategic planning and corporate real estate investments. In addition, I volunteered my time as treasurer for the Fox Woods Chapter of Kindervelt, the largest auxiliary of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

I am excited by the opportunity to work with members of other town boards in order to move forward with important town initiatives. I believe Newtown has some significant issues facing us in the near future. The growth of our town has stretched several of our facilities, including the high school and the senior center. In addition, our citizens have been presented with major development projects such as Fairfield Hills and a town recreation center. I believe we need both a short-term operational plan as well as a long-term strategic plan in order to effectively accomplish these projects.

If elected, I will work toward the goals of creating and implementing those plans. By accurately assessing the costs, benefits, and timing of our projects, we will better ensure their successes.

Thank you for your time and please know that I would be honored to serve as your district representative to the Legislative Council.

Stacie Doyle
