AMERICAN LEAGUE

 

PACKAGE AUTOMATION 5, CLEARHART CONSTRUCTION 4: Greg Rodden drove in Shaun Coakley in the bottom of the sixth to lead Package Automation to the win. Steve Marks belted a two-run homer while Nick Sando and Brian Stickles scored a run apiece. JP McDade and Joe Bowen had timely hits and Joe Greenfield pitched well, whiffing six batters.

PACKAGE AUTOMATION 6, BERLINER INSURANCE 4: Joe Bowen, Michael Maher, and Josh Powers had two hits apiece to spark Package Automation. Scott Nichols had two hits and scored a pair of runs to lead Berliner.

PACKAGE AUTOMATION 10, CHARTWELLS CONSTRUCTION 8: Greg Rodden, Joe Greenfield and Joe Bowen scored two runs apiece to lead Package Automation to another win. Bowen, Tucker Kass and Mike Tibbetts pitched well, holding Chartwells scoreless over the final three innings. For Chartwells, Brian Cullinan had a pair of hits and Blake Barreto made a highlight-reel catch in the third.

PACKAGE AUTOMATION 18, MITCHELL ARCHITECTURAL GROUP 10: Shaun Coakley and Tucker Kass had two hits apiece while JP McDade, Joe Collins and Coakley scored two runs apiece to power Package Automation. Brian Conroy had a pair of hits, including a home run, to lead Mitchell. Danny Smith, Jason Smith and Francis Oggeri were also strong at the plate.

PACKAGE AUTOMATION 9, MITCHELL ARCHITECTURAL GROUP 4: David Rodriguez was solid on the hill as Greg Rodden and Mike Tibbets pitched a good ballgame to lead Package Automation to the win. Tom Santella and Scott Suhoza had two hits apiece to lead Mitchelle while Danny Smith made the play of the game with a perfect throw to the plate to kill a Package rally.

NICK’S RESTAURANT 7, MITCHELL ARCHITECTURAL GROUP 2: Ryan McGrath belted a triple while Kevin Jurasek and Kevin Cahalane hit the ball hard to lead Nick’s Restaurant to its 10th win against no defeats.. Jurasek (throwing out a runner at third from centerfield) and Tyler Tarantino anchored the defense. For Mitchell, Tom Santella and Brian Conroy had the hits while Conroy also pitched five strong innings.

 

NATIONAL LEAGUE

 

CLASSIC DESIGNS OF NEWTOWN 17, BRAUTIGAM LAND SURVEYORS 5: Brian Fazekas ripped a triple while Keith Hogenauer and Eric Socci banged out two hits apiece to lead Classic Designs to the win. Travis Hunter and Stephen Hartlett pitched well. For Brautigam, David DeLaVega doubled while Rob Harmonay, Luke Dugger and Ken Picerno all played well.

DRUG CENTER 22, WALKER INDUSTRIAL 7: Anthony Klabonski and Croy Carlin collected two hits apiece while Mike Shannon tripled and Zack Leighton and David Pugh drove in four runs apiece to fuel the Drug Center attack. Jeff Peterson and John Nelson pitched well while Jim Gaston made a great play at third. For Walker, Adam Feldman went 2-for-3 while Dan Cassidy and Ryan Drummond also had solid hits. Collin Babbage and Dave Wilkins played excellent defense.

WALKER INDUSTRIALS 13, BRAUTIGAM LAND SURVEYORS 13: Ryan Clark was 4-for-4 and Sean Ryan was 3-for-4 as Walker Industrials tied Brautigam. Dan Curtis tripled while Collin Babbage, Ryan Clark and Jim Pope pitched well. For Brautigam, Rob Harmonay and Dan Bunger had three hits apiece while Harmonay also pitched well, striking out six of the seven batters he faced. Dave DeLaVega played well in the field.

 

AAA

 

J&J POOLS 7, JF WALSH 4: AJ Ritchie banged out a pair of hits while Adam Horvath and Mathew Narel played well to lead J&J Pools. For Walsh, Mickey Fay hit the ball hard while Jamie Walsh, Timmy Lacouture and Kyle McNamara had good games.

J&J POOL 11, BASE TECHNOLOGY 5: John Aminti cracked a pair of triples and Jason Kostecki had a single and triple to power J&J Pool. Chris Voight and Mike Hazjer anchored the defense with some sparkling plays. For Base, Vincent DeAngelis and Brendan Deveney led the offense while Patrick Stein and Stephen Berg led the D.

NEWTOWN LIMOUSINE 16, JF WALSH LOGGING 8: JJ Savarese, Julian Wahlberg and Chris Page led the Newtown Limo offense while Jaime Vavrek and Matt Mascolo pitched well. JR Shine, Michael Bunger and Michael Locorotondo were strong in the field. For Walsh, Timmy Lacouture and Brian Mesko played well.

NEWTOWN BEE 5, NEWTOWN HARDWARE 4: Max Rochwarger and Mike Poeltl had big hits to lead the Newtown Bee. Mat Siebert and Brian Carroll were strong in the field. Mx Muraskiewicz and Kurt Nacewicz pitched well. For Hardware, Kevin Walsh doubled and singled and Charlie Kerr doubled to lead the offense. Kevin Bonacci, Ryan Dilworth and Mike Lago played well.

MINORS

 

STONY BROOK 7, WENTWORTH LABS 4: Richard Andreotta, RJ Roman, Andrew Boinvini and Bryan Czel had strong offensive games to lead Stony Brook to the win. Chris Giglio and Rachel Camejo made fine defensive plays. For Wentworth, Thomas Murphy, Kyle Moore, Gary Frey and Erik Hoffman powered the offense. Joshua Zimmerman and Stephen Clark made good defensive plays.

ROOKIE

 

FAMILY HEALTH CARE CENTER versus B&K SEPTIC: Chris McGowan, Shaun Ross, Ryan Powers and Trey Trudell led Family Health while Michael Lengel, Patrick Binio, Will Fletcher and Timmy Young led B&K.

CARMINUCCIO’S PIZZA versus ASSOCIATED REFUSE: Joseph VanVeen, Sherman Schwartz, Ryan Truchess and Alex Pastorkovich powered Carminuccio’s.
