Bernice G. Stollman

Bernice G. Stollman, 87, of Stratford died August 29 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in South Norwalk, and was a daughter of the late Frances and Morris Gellis.

Her devoted children Hunter Stollman, and his wife Alisa, of Newtown and Nikki Stollman, and her husband James Injaychock, of Stratford; adored granddaughter Catherine Hunter Jacques, and her husband Philip, of Avon; and a great-grandson survive Mrs Stollman. Her beloved husband of 49 years, Seymour Stollman, and her brothers, Milton Gellis and Louis Gellis, predeceased her.

Mrs Stollman was the proprietor of M and M Travel of Stratford for more than 20 years. She was one of the founding members of the Polka Dot Playhouse, and an active member of the Shakespeare Theater Guild.

The family would especially like to thank Kyle and Susan for their love and devotion, and the wonderful nurses and staff at Lord Chamberlain for their tender devotion and loving care.

Private services were held from The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home of Fairfield, with interment following at Loyalty Cemetery.
