Protect Our Pollinators co-founders Holly Kocet and Mary Wilson will introduce the idea of creating a pesticide-free corridor of public and private properties to provide native plant habitat and nutrition for bees, butterflies and other pollinators, presentation to include speakers Mary Ellen LeMay (facilitator, Hudson To Housatonic Regional Conservation Partnership/H2H; and chairman, Trumbull Conservation Commission), Emily May (pollinator conservation specialist, Xerces Society of Invertebrate Conservation), Lisa Turoczi (co-owner, Earth Tones Native Plant Nursery, Woodbury) and Louise Washer (president, Norwalk River Watershed Association; and co-creator of Pollinator Pathway); propollinators.org.
