Newtown Bridle Lands Association 39th Annual Frost on the Pumpkin Pace, pace begins 9 am rain or shine, Mt Nebo Road, pace to run 9 am-noon, catered buffet lunch 11 am-2 pm, $50 (NBLA members $40), costumes for best costumed team, oldest horse and rider combination and Pee Wee Award (youngest rider), gift bucket and saddle pad for first place winners in each division, ribbons for top ten finishers in each division, also live music and vendors, registration required, rescheduled from October 29; newtownhorses@gmail.com, nblaCT.com.
