Newtown Family Paint Night, 5:45-7:30 pm, Newtown Middle School (Cafe), 11 Queen Street, $28, all ages invited to paint on canvas (one adult and one child can share canvas for program fee; ages 12 and under must be accompanied), guided by Studio On The Move, participants will create 11 x14 painting of bird using acrylics, all supplies pr BYO smock, drink and nut-free snack, hosted by Newtown Parks & Recreation, partial proceeds to benefit Summer Camp Scholarship, reservations required; 203-270-4340, newtown-ct.gov/parks-recreation.
