Public invited to join musicians and members of American Legion Post 202 at multiple locations along Housatonic River on Memorial Day for second annual outdoor performances of “Taps”
Performances scheduled at Eichler’s Cove (10:10 am), end of Mohawk Trail (10:11 am), end of Sweetbriar Lane (10:12 am), end of Riverside Drive (10:13 am), Glen Road Silver Bridge (10:14 am, bridge will be closed during observance), river line at Walnut Tree Hill ball field (near 6 Bridge End Farm Lane, 10:15 am), Anthes Avenue (10:16 am), and Shady Rest Community Beach (10:17 am); 203-577-9568, americanlegionnewtown@gmail.com.
