Raffle tickets $5 each, available weekends around town, from Newtown Lions Club members, and through club’s website (below, click on Duck Race)
Family-friendly event presented by Newtown Lions Club will include live entertainment, vendors, exhibits, etc, culminating in 2:30 dumping of 5,000 rubber ducks from Church Hill Road bridge into Pootatuck River, prizes for 20 top ticket-holders; 203-426-1222, serenitySH@yahoo.com, NewtownLions.org.
