Members of the Newtown Action Alliance (NAA), a group that works to end gun violence, gathered midday on Thursday, November 1, at the Church Hill Road railroad bridge, where a banner had been hung as part of a national campaign by The Future Coalition to get out the youth vote on November 6. Students across the country hung banners on Thursday in six locations that had experienced tragedy.

According to a press release from wearemarchon.org, each of the banner sites were chosen because of their connection to gun violence.

The words “now then” on the banner make up part of the questions, “If not us, then who? If not now, then when?”

NAA Chairman Po Murray said the NAA supports the voting drive to raise awareness to end gun violence in America.
