To the Editor:

Friends of the C.H. Booth Library held their annual Spring Donation Day event on Sunday, April 28. It was a pleasure seeing the fabulous donor response in spite of the threatening skies and occasional drizzle, with a continuous stream of people donating boxes and bags of books, CDs, DVDs, books on CD, records, and puzzles.

Thank you to everyone who dropped off collections to support the Friends’ effort. Also, many thanks to the dedicated volunteers who were on hand to collect and sort donated items. We were extremely pleased with the overwhelming response to our request for donations and appreciative of the variety and quality of the donations. The items collected will be prepared for our Annual Book Sale at the Reed Intermediate School, running from July 13-17, 2019.

Your support helps the Friends continue providing substantial financial grants to the library to cover the costs of materials, programming, and other popular patron services.

We hope you will continue to drop off your books and media at the library, and we look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Annual Book Sale (July 13-17, 2019) at Reed Intermediate School.
