It is with sorrow, yet much love and gratitude that we share the passing of Paul A. DeBartolomeo, a treasure of a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend.
“Pete” Clarence O. Peterson III, 82, passed away peacefully on June 24 at his home in Newtown after a long battle with frontaltemporal dementia (FTD). He is no longer silent from the FTD and enjoying the best fly-fishing the afterlife has to offer.
Diane Marie Stolfi Baker passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 82.

Georgiana CastellaniGeorgiana Castellani, 77, of Sandy Hook, a longtime resident of Ridgefield, passed away on June 20, 2024.Georgiana Castellani, 77, of Sandy Hook, a longtime resident of Ridgefield, passed away on June 20, 2024.Born in Astoria, Queens, N.Y., on May 10, 1947, to Georgiana (Slavik) and Peter Pawlyk, her early life was dominated by dance, particularly ballet. She competed in numerous dance competitions and her training culminated in attending the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan. While in high school she met the love of her life, Thomas, to whom she would be married for over 50 years.Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (or Babi as she was known to her grandchildren) does not begin to describe Georgiana. She loved her family above all else. Those who were fortunate enough to enjoy her cooking were in for a real treat. After focusing on raising her two daughters, she worked in Ridgefield Public Schools for many years as both a paraprofessional and secretary. She also volunteered with the Ridgefield Republican Town Committee and sang in the choir at St Mary Church.She was predeceased by her mother and father, her brother Peter, and her husband Thomas.She is survived by her loving daughters, Valerie Sheehan and her husband, John of Fort Worth, Texas, and Andrea Donigian and her husband, Matthew of Sandy Hook. Georgiana is also survived by four grandchildren: John Joseph and Thomas Sheehan and Olivia and Sophia Donigian.Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, June 25, from 5 to 7 pm, at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street in Ridgefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 26, at 10 am, in Saint Mary's Church, 55 Catoonah Street in Ridgefield. Interment will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Labs4Rescue, PO Box 955, Killingworth CT 06419.
Biden had no choice but to resign after that debate performance he gave...the world saw what most people already knew and many denied; that he was in extreme mental decline.
The powers that be in the Democrat Party (Obama, Clintons, Pelosi, Soros et al) made him drop out...the day before he was screaming that he was all in to the finish line.
What changed over night?...The Democrats realized that he was almost certain to lose and they will do ANYTHING to stay in power, so he was forced to drop out..There was nothing noble, heroic of patriotic about it...he was coerced into dropping out.
I think the common wisdom is that it was playing dirty ball to deny Obama from the nominating process. As a result we diminished women/family choice and lost support for the Supreme Court. In the end I think it hurt the Republican Party.
