In an attempt to revitalize the Newtown Tennis Association (NTA), those involved with the association will hold a meeting and tennis-playing opportunity at Middlebury Racquet Club, 950 Southford Road in Middlebury, on Saturday, March 9, beginning at 6:30 pm.

This free event is for any Newtown residents who are interested in joining the NTA, which plans to hold the Newtown Open in June.

There will be a meeting to elect a new team, followed by tennis on six courts. Attendees are asked to bring their own beverages as well as food to share. The NTA will provide water and Gatorade.
