Northern Fairfield Professionals, a networking group focusing on members of the local workforce in transition, meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 5:45 to 8 pm. Local professionals are invited to attend January 8 for networking, followed by a speaker presentation by Laura Powers, president of Powers Career Coaching LLC, entitled “Jump Start Your Job Search.”

During construction, St Rose of Lima Church has relocated the meeting from the Knights of Columbus building to the Holy Innocents Faith Formation Center. The temporary location is to the west of the church building, with plenty of parking available in the church's main lot.

There is no charge for NFP meetings.

Ms Powers is an executive career transition coach with 23 years of experience helping unhappily employed and currently transitioning executives build the clarity, confidence, and self-marketing skills needed to make satisfying, successful career moves.

For those who are feeling stuck and frustrated in their job search, or are disappointed in their results, Ms Powers will offer an interactive, content-rich presentation. Her program will help guests evaluate what is working, what may need to be adjusted, and how to take immediate, concrete action to help strengthen a job search campaign.
