Fireballs vs Filan Law Office Dribblers: The fireballs were led offensively by Sydney Howard, and Grace McEnny. The defensive leaders were: Shannon Kelleher and Maddie Patrick. The Dribblers were led offensively by Julia Weiland, and Hallie Filan, and the defensive leaders were Annie Minor, and Alea Willis.

Dunkin Daisies vs Cavaliers: The Daisies were led offensively by Kelsey Pearson, and Amyla Posey. The defensive leaders were Grace Eurell and Colleen Phaneaf. The Cavs were led offensively by Olivia Buchler and Cali Ryder. The defensive leaders were Madison Hintze and Shannon Jackman.

Hurricanes vs Candy Girls: The hurricanes were led offensively by Cecilia Floros and Jane Shearin. The defensive leaders were Genevieve Murray and Virginia Hepp. The Candy girls were led offensively by Kylie Raiano and Nicki Shairer. The defensive leaders were Cameron Powers and Katie Stan.

Grade 4

Mavericks 19 vs Bronx Back2Basics 17: With an overall record of 2-5 going into Sunday’s game, the young local Mavericks team has been learning and growing together since November. All their hard work came to a season high last Sunday, as they upset the undefeated powerhouse from the Bronx in overtime, with personal best performances from each and every player. Down by 3 points at halftime, and down by as many as 7 points in the second half, the Mavs chipped away at the lead with determined confidence. Jackie Matthews and Alison Kelleher were adept floor generals while dishing out numerous assists, and Matthews managed to also score a key basket. The guard play of Kristen Cirone, Sarah Widmann, and Lauren Adams, pressuring the opponent with ferocious defense traps, secured numerous steals and limited the larger Back2Basics front court from getting into their offense. Tess Davenport and Nicki DaPra were forces to be reckoned with on both ends of the court, banging the boards at both ends. Jenna Lavelle swished a baseline jumper in the final minutes to send the game into overtime, scoring the final bucket at the beginning of OT to put the Mavs in the lead. Carolina Stubbs was fierce as she ripped down rebounds on both ends of the court, with clutch rebounds to keep Back2Basics scoreless in the final minutes of OT, Davenport made a key steal in the closing seconds to secure the win. Davenport and Cirone netted four points each, and Lavelle led the Mavs with 9 points. Kim “Smooth” Buttery was not at Sunday’s game but has been a solid contributor all season with skilled ball-handling and solid defense.

Grades 5-6

Rankin Sports Pink Panthers 18, 56ers 18: The top scorer for the 56ers, Emily Bell put up 12 points, including 8 unanswered in the second quarter. Also scoring for the 56ers were Larsen, Bropleh and Otero. Dani Otero’s basket prevented the loss in overtime. Futterman and Dowling led the defensive effort. Caroline Caporale and Elizabeth Weisgerber led the Pink Panthers in scoring 6 each. Catherine Shaw, Katie McCabe and Sarah Lindell all scored. Elizabeth led with the most rebounds followed by Simone Afriyie and Sarah. Great Defense by Katie, Hannah Luby, and Alex Sabillon.

Lady Hawks 29, The Flash 14: The Lady Hawks’ Emily Neave lead the team with 8 points. Sydney Flint lead the offense with 4 assists. Grace Frost lead the team with 9 rebounds and Larkin Huffman anchored the defense with 3 steals. For The Flash, team captain Katie Bassett led a strong defensive effort along with Caitlyn Child. Julia Anderson and Abbie Pearson played strong games with Anderson scoring 4 points. Claire Swanson and Lauryn Ankers led in rebounds. Allie Indelicato lead all scorers with 10.

Pampered Chef Thunder, 21 Crazy Fruits 5: The Pampered Chef Thunder came out strong in a 21-5 victory over the Crazy Fruits. Olivia Hamula and Kayla Ward were high scorers with 7 and 6 points respectively. Tessa-Leon Gambetta and Corey Mangold added 4 points to aide the offense. Sarah Brittin, Amanda Solomon, and Ava Petrellese were tough on defense as usual. Jackie Guevera and Emilee Dirga led the Crazy Fruits in scoring. Teresa Forlenzo and Jaclyn O’Leary led the team in rebounding and assists.

The Storm 22, Colonical Chiropractic Dr Schmid Mighty Mustangs 18: The Storm defeated The Mighty Mustangs in another close game between the two teams by the score of 22-18. Carly Kreshpan continued her impressive play by scoring a game high 16 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Megan Kelleher added four points and 10 rebounds, while Kayla O’Sullivan added two points but also played a critical role in taking charge of the team’s defense in the fourth quarter as The Mustangs mounted a furious comeback. Casey Muckell led the Mighty Mustang’s in scoring with 6 points. Ashley Santore and Alli Nuzzo added 4 more each while leading a furious comeback by the Mustangs in the fourth quarter cutting the deficit from 12 to 4 points. Jenna Ciavara and Jordan Williams were outstanding on the defensive side as well.

The Storm 31, Zephyr Lock Orange Crush 18: The Storm continued their winning ways with a 31-18 victory over the previously undefeated Orange Crush. Carly Kreshpan once again led the way, posting an impressive 10 point, 10 rebound double-double. The star of the game though was Charli Condon who erupted for 8 points and 6 steals to break open a close game. Condon’s speed and ball handling skills proved critical in leading The Storm to victory. Camryn Findley had an outstanding game scoring 5 points and swiping 4 steals. Christina Sgobbo scored 4 points and Madison Findley added a fast break basket to help push The Storm to 5-1 on the season. The Orange Crush were led by Ashely Lynch with 10 points and Lexy Leidlein with 4. Erin Tressler and Shannon Cheh chipped in a basket each. Shannon Cheh played tough defense along with Lucy Draper and Dylan Zahansky.

Grades 7-8

Ken Burns Electric Da Bears 24, Panthers 6: Da Bears prevailed in a battle of unbeaten teams and were led on defense by Madison Pirone and Julia Wiberg. Carly Grossano and Andrea Trivers combined for 10 points for Da Bears. For the Panthers, Ashley Marks and Liza Eggleston played great games while Marisa Thill played well at the point.

Boys

Grade 2

Oranges vs Nighthawks: The Oranges had a great over all game, led by sensational drives and scoring by Aidan Finnegan and Jeff Garritty, wonderful steals by Connor Smith and strong offensive support with passing from Drew Poseno and pick-setting from Patrick Boyle. Adam Zibluk, CJ Cuomo, Michael Elston, Neil Kalra, and Jonathan Taylor had a great overall game scoring baskets and playing great defense. The Nighthawks’ Connor Mandarano, Ryan Ruddy, and James Malin led the offensive attack for the Nighthawks making many great moves around the basket and putting in some great shots. Matthew Williams, Clayton Kunzweiler, and Brandon Akbas led the defensive attack pulling down numerous rebounds and making some great steals.

Bananas vs Blue Ice: The Burnt Bananas showed a tremendous team effort on both sides of the court. The offense was led by the Jack trio made up of Jack Petersen, Jack Street, and Jack Stenz. Luke Hannan and Carl Miller were also offensive superstars. Trevor Jacozzi and Jake the Snake Mailloux directed the offense with their great passing. The twin towers of Ethan and Ben Paley were defensive juggernauts. The Blue Ice showed no ill effects of the four week holiday and snow layoff. Conor Dole, Riley Dole, and Steven Leuci saw their first game action of the season and played very well, handling the ball well and getting several good looks at the basket. Aidan DellaCorte and Jack Mahar showed much improvement in ball-handling and took some good shots. Arav Dave, Miller, Tetreault, Nick Sabillon, and Steven Cotton slashed to the basket to score a few hoops. Jake Dandrea and CJ Demers showed exceptional dribbling skills and made several good passes in addition to scoring a few points.

Maroon Magic vs Lightning: Logan McAloon, Brendan Morrissey, and Daniel Jaeger of the Lightning had an outstanding game. Ryder Palumbo, Sean O’Sullivan, and Michael Haddick continued to display their scoring prowess, each scoring numerous baskets. Also for The Lightning, Ryan Heran, Nicholas Fischer, and Hayden Miller played outstanding defense and also grabbed many rebounds. This week, The Maroon Magic boys continued to play hard and exhibit good team concepts by passing to the open teammate and sliding over to play help defense. Kyle Reilly, Matt Sortino, and Daniel Pond were strong on offense and contributed several baskets each. Both Nick Sortino and Macklin Berry were tough on defense and had several steals and deflections. Charlie Eppers was strong on both offense and defense as he drove the ball to the hoop several times and pulled down rebounds and on defense did a great job moving his feet to stay in front of the offensive player as he came off the screen.

Grade 3

Mavericks vs Amity: The Mavericks lost to Amity. The Mavs were led on offense by Nick Kalra, Jack Mulligan, Kyle Sullivan, Dillon Robinso, and Jack Lydon. The Mavs were led on defense by Joe Rios, Liam Murphy, Keenan Murphy, Kyle Good, and Josh Taylor.

Huskies vs Newtown Road Race Blue Racers: Offensive players for the Huskies: Luke Azzarito, Liam Murphy, and Keenan Murphy. Defensive players: Sean Roche, Tevor Merrick, JP Ford, and Kieran Coffey. Offensive players for the Newtown Road Race Blue Racers: Bryce Benson, Jack Mulligan, and Justin DeThomas. Defensive players: Eamon Doherty, Luke Sposato, and Max Bloomquist

Green Hawks vs Wildcats: Offensive players for the Green Hawks: Max Hubner, Nick Kalra, and Jack Lydon. Defensive players: Bryan Bailey, James Tibolla, and William Crebbin. Offensive players for the Wildcats: Will Archiere, Chris Frascatore, and Kyle Good. Defensive players: Hunter Kirkman, Devin O’Connell, and Luke Wellman.

Golden Hornets vs Ghostbusters: Offensive players for the Golden Hornets: Christopher Beal, Shaine Luzzietti, and Nathan Paltauf. Defensive players: Stephen Dooley, Max Hansen, and William Swift. Offensive players for the Ghostbusters: Sam Eppers, Jack Kuligowski, and Patrick Oberstadt. Defensive players: Ethan Lee, Stephen Sedensky, and JP Iaropoli.

Warriors vs Red Devils: Offensive players for the Warriors: Shilin Ray, Josh Taylor, Max Wrage. Defensive players: Ryan Mcnerney, Patrick Grover, and Kyle Sullivan. Offensive players for the Red Devils: Gillon Robinson, Joey Rios, and Jared Dunn. Defensive players: Quinn McAndrew, Rohan Manusukhani, and John Godino.

Grade 4

The Beasts 34, Mavericks 19: Faris Kaghat and Jimmy Davies combined for 22 points for the Beasts. Tyler Clure had 4 assists, while Billy Bruno had 4 steals and Connor Hughes had 7 rebounds. The Mavericks were led by Jack Sullivan and Mark Leonardi who combined for 13 points. The defense was led by Jack Swanson with 5 steals and Alex Katsuleres with 7 rebounds.

Flaming Monkeys 25, Blue Streak 20: Daniel Mason and Jacob Clements combined for 15 points for the Monkeys. Riley McCafferty had 3 assists, Chris Venezia had an outstanding game on defense with 5 steals, and Jack Hannan had 7 rebounds. For the Streak, Harry Lucas and Ben Nowacki combined for 11 points. Kyle Cascone had 4 assists, Vincent Genovese led the defense with 4 steals, and Reed Hammond had 7 rebounds.

Globetrotters 26, Adviserstrust.com Heat 25: For the Globetrotters, John Albanesi and James Schumacher combined for 26 points. Luke Sansonetti had 5 assists, Karl Kelly led the defense with 4 steals, and Anthony Lynch had 6 rebounds. For the Heat, Tucker Garrity and James Clifford combined for 23 points, while Timmy Davis had 3 assists, Harrison Farrah had 5 steals, and Thomas Hartley 8 had rebounds

 Aces 32, Adviserstrust.com Heat 25: The Aces were led by the scoring of Todd Petersen and Tom Luciano who combined for 22 points. Sean McCleary had 4 assists, and Alex Budd had 9 rebounds. For the Heat, Tucker Garrity and James Clifford combined for 13 points, while Eric Casangrande had 3 assists, Thomas Murray had 5 steals, and Garrett Norberg 11 had rebounds

Grade 5

Red Bulls 34, Black Knights 25: Ryan Patrick and the Red Bulls outscored the Black Knights 34-25 in the final game of the day at NYA last Saturday. Ryan pumped in 14 points and Justin Woodard and Ben Drew contributed 6 and 4, respectively. Evan Landgrebe, Sam Parsons, and Ben Harrison played strong defense. Adam Farley and Ethan Aug led the team in assists with key defensive rebounds to hold back a late Black Knights comeback. For the Black Knights, Teddy Wojcik played brilliant defense keeping the game close at halftime 14-12. Teddy had 3 steals and a blocked shot and was a force under the boards not allowing anyone near him to take a shot, earning him the defensive player of the game for the Knights. Dwyer Grimes was equally as brilliant with 6 steals, 8 rebounds, an assist, a blocked shot, and was 2 for 9 from the floor. Dylan Champagne scored 9 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and had 4 steals and Thomas Coppinger had 6 points, 5 rebounds and an assist, along with 7 steals. A.J. Salaris chipped in a pair of buckets and a pair of rebounds and a steal. John Payne finished off the scoring for the Knights shooting 1 for 2 from the floor. John also had 3 rebounds and a steal in the game.

Dynamite 33, Nighthawks 19: The Dynamites offense started off quickly with an immediate 3 point play (layup and free throw) by John Finnegan (13 points) and jumped out to an early 17-2 point lead. Matt Principi (6 points), Robert Murray (6 points) and Avi Bhaya (4 points) also contributed to the Dynamites offense. Max Goldstein, Avi Bhaya and Chris “Dogbone” Daubert were tough on defense holding the Nighthawks to 4 points at the end of the half. Despite the Nighthawks falling behind early, they did not give up and continued to play hard throughout the game. Josh Dunn powered his way to a team high 7 points, while Dylan Sock chipped in 6 points, Travis Huzina had 4 points, and Will Stenz had his first hoop of the season. Owen Sullivan and Stenz had several key steals and defensive pressures in the fourth quarter. The Skrelja brothers, Thomas and Wally, worked hard on the boards, while Christian Lestic, Kirby McDonald and Dino Vogiatzis played outstanding defense.

Heat 25, Hornets 16: The Heat defeated a tough Hornet squad 25-16 behind a balanced attack. The Heat offense was led by 10 points from Aidan Ford and 8 points from Ryan Mailloux. Matt Sadowski had a great all-around game finishing with 4 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Kai Toomey and Nate Jones played solid defense all game and Jimmy Doutney was 1 for 2 from the line with 3 rebounds. Liam Deakin powered the Hornets offense with 10 points in the loss. EJ “Man Joe” Santayana also chipped in with 2 points on the day. The two Hornets big men, Brian Montoya and Jack Murray, controlled the boards with 12 rebounds combined. The Hornets stinging defense was led by Marc Carlson and Zack Demeglio who caused havoc all over the court.

Celtics 24, Tornados 10: In a battle of two undefeated teams, the Celtics prevailed 24-10 behind Silas Deckers’ 10 points and Cole Demirjians’ 8 points. The Harper brothers, Joshua and Nicholas, Alex Janiak, and Corny Dunn were tremendous on defense limiting a strong Tornados team, who had averaged 25 points per game, to just 10 points. Rhett Saunders and Jake Pirone led the Tornados offense. Matt Menousek, Jack Bittman, and Ken Malin played strong on a defense for the Tornados.

Huskies 41, Scorpions 39: Andrew Deluca (24 points) hit two clutch free throws with 9.3 seconds in regulation to force OT where the Huskies managed to outscore the tough Scorpions by 2 points to win 41-39. Rick Mariani (6 points), David Daria (6 points), and Christian Adam (3 points) were instrumental in the comeback. Clutch free throws by Ward and Adam proved to be the difference in OT. The Scorpions were in control most of the game entering the fourth quarter. The Scorpions were led offensively by Greg Brissette (12 points), Ben Terry (11 points), and Mark Hall (6 points). On defense, the Scorpions had outstanding performances by Doug Carriero, Wyatt Moyers, Alex Street, and Jermane Anyoha.

Grade 6

The Bulldogs 49, The Red Storm 18: The Bulldogs offense was led by Hunter Cobb with 18 pts, Matthew Bucci with 10 pts, and Alex Dunleavy with 8 points. The Bulldogs defensive teeth were led by Max Ames, Will LeMay, and Brandon Pavlicak. Red storm was led in scoring by Joe Palanzo with 8 points. Matt Frazzetta had a strong game on defense and led the team with 5 rebounds. Colin Villamana was relentless on defense and had 4 steals.

The Mysteries 43, Golden Ringer 22: Jack Phelps 16 points.. Jake Anastasi 6 points... the defense of Cameron Mitchell and Mitchell Long… 4 assists from Noah Seri. The Golden Fingers were led on offense by Henry Primavera with 10 points, including an amazing half court buzzer beater to end the first half. Juerun Schickrndantz also added some scoring on the offensive end. Parker Johnson and Will Forgery played solid defense in the Ringers’ first loss of the season.

Untouchables 48, Grasshoppers 40: The Untouchables were able to earn their first win of the season thanks to a great team effort on defense and a relentless press. Leading the way on defense was Jordan “I love to run” Klein and Ben “stay away from my hoop” Marini. With 4 key rebounds, Ben was able to keep the other team in check under boards. On the offensive side, Austin “outta my way” Kasbarian dominated the game with a masterful performance driving his way to the hoop for a total of 21 points, 10 in the fourth quarter alone. Ben Dieckman (5 rebounds, 2 steals) and Nick Lansing (6 points, 3 steals) also played great, pushing the pace to break down the smothering press of the opposing defense.

Trailing 48-24 with 4:10 remaining in the game the Grasshoppers mounted a tremendous comeback scoring 16 unanswered points but ran out of time falling to 48-40. Owen McInerney was pivotal in the comeback scoring 6 of his team high 10 points in the fourth quarter even when he was hampered by a sore knee. Owen also chipped in a pair of assists, was 2 for 2 from the free throw line, and grabbed 3 rebounds. His gutsy play earned him the offensive player of the game for the Grasshoppers. Connor Brennan played steady defense in support of Owen’s fourth quarter splurge by constantly trapping the Untouchables during the Grasshoppers full court press.

The scoring for the Grasshoppers was evenly spread out across their roster with Nicholas Venezia staking the green nymphs to an early 4-0 lead and finishing with 6 points, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds. The teamwork play continued with Ryan Brello cashing in on 3 of his 4 shots for 6 points. He also had 2 rebounds. Matt Kretz was 3 for 7 from the field giving him 6 points as well. The Grasshoppers highest offensive output of their season did not stop there. Jack Reilly nailed a 10-footer and had a layup fall for 4 points. He also had an assist and a blocked shot giving him defensive player of the game. Ryan Norton joined the scoring party with 4 points of his own after going 2 for 6 from the floor. Patrick Godino and Bradley Wiseman added a pair of points each. Even though Bradley Capeci did not get to the scorer’s table, he was unselfish with a pair of assists and also had 2 rebounds. The Grasshoppers are off to a 0-4 start but are playing good teamwork basketball which will hopefully create more scoring opportunities and placement in the W column next week.

The Hersey Kisses 33, The Blue Ninja’s 22: Hershey Kisses ran their winning streak to four games with a 36-26 (I think that was the score, not positive) win — the offensive surge was led by Steven Moccio’s 13 pts, while Robert Lombardo had his best game of the year with 8 points, 8 steals, and an all-around superlative effort. Will Huegi chipped in 7 pts and 6 steals, Elliott Bennett controlled the glass with 8 rebounds, Nick Lombardo added 2 pts and 4 rebounds, and Aaron Gershon, Phillip Coffey, and Tiernan Keane spearheaded a tenacious defensive effort. The Blue Ninja’s were led on offense by Peter Clifford with 8 points, and Matt Fuchs, Chad Azzarito and R.H. Clark with 4 points each. Matt Krasnickas, Bryan Morrissey, and RH Clark led the way on defense with many rebounds and key steals. Matt Guinee, Nick Lametto, and David Usher helped lead a solid offense.

Thunder 48, Blue Ninjas 32: Justin Dunn led the scoring for the Thunder with 10 points, and Graham Dowd and Zach Anderson added 8 apiece. Tim Cervera was dominant on the boards with 8 rebounds, and the defense was anchored by Eric Mockovac who was seen diving on the floor for the ball throughout the game. The Blue Ninja’s were led on offense by Matt Fuchs with 6 points and Peter Clifford with 10 points. Matt Krasnickas, Bryan Morrissey, and Nick Lametto led the way on defense with 5 rebounds each. Matt Guinee, Chad Azzarito and R.H. Clark helped start a rally in the fourth to allow the Ninja’s to mount a great comeback that fell short in the end. Given this was a doubleheader for the Ninja’s, two players should be recognized for their great hustle: both David Usher and Bryan Morrissey never gave up and provided a much needed spark to help the Ninja’s through a long day.

Grade 7

Brookfield 44, Newtown Gold 19: Newtown had no answers for Brookfield’s 1-3-1 zone defense. Matt Maturo was high man with 7 points. Michael Doyle and Joe Dureo added 4 each. James Accousti was his usual ball of energy on defense and added a basket. Kieran Lynch and Ethan Carpenter both played well at the point.

Ansonia 41, Newtown Gold 31: In a game closer than the final score indicated, Newtown stayed within striking distance until the final few minutes. Dillon Palumbo had the hot hand early and finished with 10 points. Maturo added 6 and Colin Patrick 4. Tim VanderHave was active on the boards and scored 3 points, while Geoff Santore and James Frazzetta played strong interior defense and contributed 2 points each.

Shelton 61, Newtown 57: Andrew Svanda had 13 points, Matt Gerics had 12 points, Jared Pearson had 9 points, and Ryan Shaw had 8 points. Newtown was down by 12 at the half and Devin Luzietti and Mason Melillo fed the big men down low to tie the game up. Shelton, however, pulled out the win from the foul line.

Newtown 50, Southbury 42: Leading the scoring was Jared Pearson with 10 points, Nick Samuelson and Ryan Shaw each had 8 points, Matt Gerics with a head bruise had 7 points, and Andrew Svanda and Matt Elias each had 6 points. Newtown was down by 9 starting in the fourth quarter and outhustled Southbury in the fourth quarter scoring 21 points and holding Southbury to only 4 points.

Grades 7-8

Dr Curtis Beck Patriots 53, Wildcats 52: The Patriots were led by Bryce Decker with 28 points and 8 blocked shots. Mark Dowling and James Carney led the defense, and Kai Djonne hit a 3 pointer to seal the game. For the Wildcats, Ryan Szalay had 17 points and Matt Ingwersen and Tucker Kistner played well at both ends.

Thunder 42, Magic 38: The Thunder beat The Magic by a score of 42-38 to improve to 4-1 on the season. Jaret DeVellis led The Thunder on offense, pouring in 23 points, while Trevor Lopez had a great all-around game, scoring 6 points, handing out 4 assists, and grabbing 5 steals. Brandon O’Sullivan sank two key free throws and had 2 steals on back-to-back possessions late in the fourth quarter to help preserve the lead and secure the win. Shawn McCarthy scored 3 points and played great defense in the win. For the Magic, Keaton McCleary scored 11 points with a great effort by Bryan Kiley Deagan Beauchemin, Eric Cascone, and Andrey Masser.

Walri 63, Bricklayers 40: Richard LaPak and Gordon Walsh combined for 26 points to lead the Walri. Tommy Rahr controlled the boards and Logan Walsh played strong defense. For the Bricklayers, Connor Miller led the way with 20 points while Hunter Booker, Bubba Condon, and Zach Aumueller played strong defense.

Knicks 41, Newtown Deli & Catering Celtics 32: The Knicks were led by Shane Quimby with 15 points. The team played tight defense led by Nate Dowd, Cole Rogalin, and Aiden Petershack. The Celtics were led by Will Swain with 11 points and Jack Procaaccini with 9 points and 16 rebounds.

Lydon Appraisals Raptors 61, Sugar Hill Auto Body Huskies 32: Bobby Lydon led the Raptors with 20 points. Nick Bourgeois led the defense, and Jason Ferrari broke the press. For the Huskies, Charlie Heugi and Jimmy Widmann combined for 21 points, while Danny McCarthy and Tommy Elliot played good defense.

Gaston Law Wolfpack 54, Rankin Sports Vipers 43: Joe Santella led the Wolfpack with 10 points. Strangling defense played by Spencer Johansan, Jimmy Craig, and Marcus Wessel. The Vipers were led by Stephen Grasso with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Andy DeWolfe, Harry Duffy, and Colton Moroney led the defense.

Razorbacks 41, Bulldogs 35: Harry Depuy led the Razorbacks with 18 points. Tight defense by Nick Genovese, Conrad Morris, and Max Donaher. For the Bulldogs, Jon Sherman had 14 points and Tim LeBlanc, Connor Flint, and Sam Duffy played good defense.

Taunton Hill Landscaping Wolverines 37, Bearcats 20: Forest Speed and Devin Palilla combined for 16 points for the Wolverines. Trever Palmer and Carl Whippie played tough defense. For the Bearcats, David Csorda and David Corsi combined for 10 points. Michael Unschuld and Sean Dalton played good all-around games.

Gaston Law Wolfpack 43, Magic 35: Joe Santella led the Wolfpack to a win with 10 points with Spencer Johnson, Daniel Collucci, and Callahan Brock providing strong defense. For the Magic, Deagan Beauchemin and Bryan Kiley combined for 16 points. CJ Dunn Jared Tannenbaum and Mason Galanis provided the defense.

Rankin Sports Vipers 41, Bulldogs 38: The Vipers were led by Stephen Grasso, Colton Moroney, and Andy DeWolfe with 31 points combined. Brandon O’Sullivan played strong defense. For the Bulldogs, Jon Sherman led the way with 17 points, while Colin Morrissey, Jim Payne, and Jake Lambert played strong defense.

Lydon Appraisals Raptors 55, Bricklayers 37: Jason Ferrari led the Raptors with 22 points. Jimmy Buck led the defense and Pete Manfredonia controlled the boards. The Bricklayers were paced by Connor Miller with 13 points.

Thunder 54, Newtown Deli & Catering Celtics 39: The Thunder continued their winning ways with a 54-39 victory over a tough Celtics team. Jaret DeVellis continued his torrid scoring pace, posting his second consecutive 23 point outburst. Michael Cirone chipped in an impressive 11 points and Albert Dean scored six points. Sam Czel had a great all-around game by scoring 6 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Shawn McCarthy and Zach Laros both scored 4 points and played great defense to help The Thunder run their win streak to five. For the Celtics, Eric Street led the way with 23 points. Jack Procaccini, Adam Israel, and Nick Ersley played good defense.
