Ruth Marie Cabral, 73, previously of Sandy Hook, died peacefully at her residence in Danbury, January 26. She was born in Bridgeport, September 24, 1941, and was a daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Lockwood.

Her five loving children Ruth Cabral, Julie Walsh, Debbie Arsenault and her husband, CJ, Barbara Cabral, and Charles Cabral; as well as her siblings Florence, Bobby, George, Linda, Judy, and Jean survive Ms Cabral. Her beloved grandchildren Crystal, Kendra, John, Nicole, Tyler, Danielle, and Jenna; and three great-grandsons also survive her. She was predeceased in death by her siblings Earl, Doris, Joan, Freddie, and Harold.

Ms Cabral worked for many years in the food service industry. She will be missed by all who knew her, and remembered for her love of cards, football, baking with the family, and bingo.

The family will receive friends at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Friday, January 30, from 4 to 7 pm, with a service at 7 pm.
