Antoinette Riccio Masi

Antoinette Riccio Masi, 88, of Trumbull, died January 28 in her home in Spring Meadows at Trumbull, after a brief illness. Born July 11, 1925, she was the beloved daughter of Jennie and John Riccio.

Four children, Anna Maria Bobkowski, and her husband Thomas, of Sandy Hook, Vincent S. Masi of Baltimore, Md., Dr Paul Masi ,and his partner Tasha Cook, of Wallingford, and David Masi, and his wife Mimi Rohlfing, of Andover, Mass.; six beautiful grandchildren; her brother, Joseph Riccio of Trumbull; and many nieces and nephews survive Mrs Masi. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Patsy Riccio.

She lived in Bridgeport before moving to Trumbull, and worked at General Electric. She was married to Vincent C. Masi and raised four children, who will miss her greatly. She also worked at Macy’s Department Store (formerly Read’s.)

Mrs Masi was most passionate about her family and she cherished every moment with them. She loved her grandchildren and jumped at every opportunity to babysit or visit with them. She was a wonderful cook and baker and her specialties were her cookies, pizzelles, and traditional Italian meals. She enjoyed many activities with her friends.

Funeral services will take place Saturday, February 1, at 9 am, in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 am in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Calling hours are scheduled for Friday, January 31, from 4 to 8 pm.
