The work of three Newtown potters — Karen Pinto, Ros Liljengren, and Roberta Ahuja, aka The Clay Dates Potters — is being exhibited through the end of February in a new glass showcase at The Municipal Center Art Gallery. The showcase was purchased with by The Clay Dates Potters through a grant received by Newtown Cultural Arts Commission to the three potters. It is situated in the hallway near the southern entrance to the town building at 3 Primrose Street.

“We are delighted to have this new venue to exhibit and sell our work,” Ms. Pinto noted.

The municipal center is open weekdays from 8 am until 5 pm as well as late on days when meetings are scheduled.

The Municipal Center Art Gallery is managed and curated by Newtown Cultural Arts Commission and its chairman, Laura E. Lerman. The gallery and the new showcase is available to artists and artisans from all over.

Artists interested in exhibiting within the showcase or the gallery space at Newtown Municipal Center are invited to contact Ms Lerman at lel@se-ltd.com.
