The Friends of Counted Embroidery (FCE) Laurel Chapter President Beverly Regan, and Vice Presidents Marge Gingolaski and Beverly Robertson, who is in charge of programs, assembled an exhibit of works created by FCE members at C.H. Booth Library on February 1.

The exhibit will be on view throughout the month of February at the library, 25 Main Street.

The exhibit is sponsored by the library and the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission.

FCE is a non-profit organization that works to expand the knowledge of counted embroidery through workshops, lectures, and other efforts. The group meets the second Thursday of each month, September through June, from 10 am until 2 pm, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 85 Mt Pleasant Road in Newtown.

Workshops and lessons are held at each meeting and beginners to advanced are welcome. Call Carol Fullman (203-270-1747) for more information on membership.
