Services At The Cancer Center

NEW MILFORD — Services offered by the American Cancer Society can now be accessed at the New Milford Hospital – Columbia-Presbyterian Regional Cancer Center.

One of the newer offerings at the American Cancer Society is the ability for cancer patients and their loved ones to go online to receive the most up-to-date, comprehensive and unbiased cancer information on specific diagnoses, treatment, latest research, local patient support and educational programs.

The office is manned by trained volunteers five days a week, from 9 am to 4 pm, and is located off the waiting room in the cancer center. Other programs that are available on-site include the “Look Good, Feel Better” Program, a program that teaches women and men how to look their best even while undergoing treatment.
