Lane Robert Kummer, 20, of Newtown died February 4. He was the beloved son of Constance Huebner and Richard Kummer.

He will be missed by many many others in Newtown and across the country.

Mr Kummer loved to be outdoors, to fish and hunt, and was a member of the Monroe Rod and Gun club. He attended Head O' Meadow, Newtown Intermediate, and graduated high school from Connecticut Junior Republic, where he excelled in horticulture and landscape design.

It is believed he died of an unfortunate accidental overdose.

A service celebrating his life will be on Saturday, February 18, at 2 pm, at the First Church Congregational, 25 Cross Highway, Redding.
