Students should bring their DSLR camera and manual to class.20 Ways To Earn Residual Income - A one-time class, March 30, 6 to 9 pm, $39. The Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care is a unique alliance between state government and the private insurance industry developed to provide individuals with a way to plan for their long-term care needs without the risk of impoverishment. The instructor will address how Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans impact long-term care, and will also include a detailed explanation of how the Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care Insurance Program works. The class will be taught by an employee of the state of Connecticut's Office of Policy and Management.Chakradance Discovery - A one-time class, March 30, 6:30 to 7:30 pm, $49. Students will reach into the depths of their soul, and discover their body-mind-spirit connection. Chakradance through its intimate guided meditation and varying vibrational tones of its carefully choreographed music, will provoke spontaneous movement, images, and healing as each of the student's energy chakras are rebalanced. Students should bring a cushion to class.West Point Dress Parade - A day trip on April 29, departs from Newtown High School at 8:15 am, $109. Watch West Point Academy hold its famous Dress Parade, conducted with great pomp and circumstance on the parade grounds. The Cadets march in full uniform in cadence with the military music, presenting arms in unison. Highlights of the West Point Guided tour include Cadet, Chapel, Trophy Point, and Hudson River lookout. Eventgoers will enjoy a bountiful buffet at the West Point Club with an assortment of salads, hot and cold entrees, and delicious dessert. No discounts apply.
