WATERTOWN – The Watertown 5K road race to benefit Project Graduation 2001 will be held Sunday, April 8, at 1 pm, starting (and ending) at Veterans Memorial Park on Nova Scotia Hill Road in Watertown.

Registration will be held at the pavilion. A kid’s race about a quarter-mile long will be held inside the park. Pre-registration is $13 prior to April 6 and $17 after (students through high school are $10 all the time). Walkers are $5 and kids are $3 with registration on race day only.

Shirts will be given to the first 200 runners of the 5K. Several divisions and prizes in each. Race will be held rain, shine or BLIZZARD (kid’s race, though, would be canceled). Call Joyce Heineman at 1-860-274-3955 or Dave Gold at 1-860-274-5543 for further information.
