The Newtown Youth Basketball Association offers summer basketball programs. Visit newtownyouthbasketball.com to register. There will be two leagues with a limit of 40 participants per league and the cost is $95 per participant.

Rising fifth/sixth grade for boys and girls who will be in fifth and sixth grade next school year (2014-2015), Monday afternoons, June 30, July 7, 14, 21, and 28. Game times 3:15/4:15

Rising seventh/eighth grade for boys and girls who will be in seventh and eighth grade next school year, Tuesday afternoons, July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. Game times 3:15/4:15, total of nine games with two games on first four dates. Last date one game and open court time

Games are played on the air-conditioned courts of NYA Sports & Fitness Center with one adult referee and one junior referee

Players play in specific age group and will be placed on team,  team T-shirts provided.

The goal is for all players to have fun — because it’s summer!
