BETHLEHEM, CONN. — The Antiquarian & Landmarks Society will present Plant of the Month watercolor workshops through September at its historic house museum, the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden, at 9 Main Street North.

The workshops with botanical artist Betsy Rogers-Knox will focus on a different plant or botanical theme in the Ferriday Garden each month. A member of the American Society of Botanical Artists, Rogers-Knox studied at the New York School of Visual Arts, the University of Colorado and the New York Botanical Garden.

Her work has been exhibited locally, as well as in an internationally juried show at the New York Horticultural Society in the fall of 2006. Reservations are required as space is limited. The workshop fee is $50. For reservations, call 203-266-7596.

All workshops run from 10 am to 3 pm. Sessions include Thursday, April 24, magnolias; Sunday, May 20, flowering trees and shrubs; Thursday and Friday, June 14–June 15, roses ($90 for 2 sessions); Tuesday, July 10, perennials in bloom; and Thursday, August 7, annuals in bloom.
